Braids are the thing for spring!! Thought you knew!!!!

These super pretty braids can make a day look into night with the switch of your heels!

The next visit to your stylist ask for one of these looks instead of your usual blowdry.     Or....try braiding yourself! For the beginner the Selena Gomez braid is very easy to do.

Step 1. Lightly tease the crown and finger comb out any "ratty" spots.
2. Sweep your touseld hair to the side and begin a loose braid.

It's that easy! The messier the better;)

Kate's Royal Wedding Hair-how should she wear it?

Here are a few samples of some gorgeous do's for the "Big" day tomorrow. If Kate is as nervous as I was on my wedding day then she probably has every person around her equally frazzled, lol! This pretty style is loose and casually classic,my personal fave!
This one has Kate written all over it! I'm thinking she may choose something that she is comfortable wearing , this all down do' is stunning. Sleek, shiny and perfect with a veil.
And then there's the "Eva" do. Very romantic and fun all at once. What are the chances she'll pick one like this? Well whatever she chooses, the world will be watching and her wedding hair will go down in history no doubt about it!!

Tips on how to make you hair color last and stay smooth and shiny!

Did you just get your color and/or highlights done??

Well, please follow some super easy steps and enjoy it for longer than ever before! Now don't be crazy, there is nothing I can do about how fast your roots come out, lol!

 1. Shampoo and condition every other day or longer. Washing too frequently can fade out and dull new hair color faster.

        2. Use professional shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair,ALWAYS. I love the Moroccanoil Moisture Repair shampoo and conditioner! It works great and of course smells so good!

        3. Rinse hair with  cool water to prevent color fading. It also keeps frizzies at bay and promotes shine;)

        4. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST......suncreen protection for your hair! Summer is upon us. After spending hours and money in the salon don't let the sun be the demise of your gorgeous color/hilights! Try Shiseido Refreshing Sun Protection Spray, it's super light and will keep your color in check!

Bangs are Bangin!!

Ok, I just saw one of my fave clients whom I shall call "Z" and she's inspired me to let all you ladies who love the bangs  know the ABC's of cute bangs.

If you are lucky, your hairdresser will do bang trims at zero to little cost without an appointment(yay me! I make it a must for all my "bangy" clients!)

But if not, here are just a few easy steps you can take at home to ensure you stay correct with your new bangs;)

1. Take your overgrown bangs and clip back the longer pieces to prevent any accidents.
2. Lightly hold the bangs and cut INTO the hair, not across , until you've reached the desired length.
3. Be careful not to get carried away and cut too much too soon or you may end looking like Dora the Explorer!
4. If by some awful oops, the home bang trim went awry, DO NOT keep cutting. Put the shears down and call your hairdresser;)

Spring is here, let the hair flow!

An easy loose braid on one day = a flow of  sexy waves the second!  Day 1. Start with some mousse and lightly damp hair. Braid loosely and let it dry completely.

Day 2. Take down braid, shake you hair around and voila! Sexy wavy hair with little effort! Enjoy , and let the haters hate, lol!!
